Come and celebrate spring at the Annual Columbus Botanical Garden Plant Sale! Scheduled for Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14, this event is our best opportunity to share our love and knowledge of plants and gardening with the Chattahoochee Valley region. The “Plant Sale Preview Party” for members only will be held on Thursday, April 12, 5:00 to 7:00pm. The Columbus Botanical Garden and its volunteers welcome members to come enjoy wine, refreshments and the best selection of plants for enhancing your garden! New members may join on site for $35. While at the Plant Sale, visit the educational displays located inside the farmhouse that showcase the diversity of Georgia’s horticulture industry. Have questions about plants? Then, visit our local Master Gardeners at the “Ask a Master” booth. The Master Gardener’s will be able to provide valuable knowledge about your plant selections as well as existing plants or even pest problems in your landscape. But, be sure to bring a sample! When collecting a sample, try to include multiple leaves, stems, buds and flowers, if in bloom. For pest problems, be sure that symptoms are prevalent on the sample. The Annual Spring Plant Sale is one of the largest fundraising events of the year with all proceeds going to support the Columbus Botanical Garden. The Plant Sale will be behind the farmhouse with educational displays, local artists and other vendors located inside. Make plans to join us and help us usher in spring! We look forward to seeing you there and helping your garden grow!
February Educational Series, "Let's Get Ready For Spring"
Let the Columbus Botanical Garden teach you how to prepare your garden for a beautiful and healthy spring green-up! Mr. Bill Kes, UGA Master Gardener, will conduct two workshops aimed at training participants on one of February's most important garden maintenance tasks, pruning! A hands-on workshop designed to teach gardeners how to clean and sharpen tools will be offered first, followed by an in-depth discussion and demonstration on basic pruning techniques for landscape plants. So, resurrect those old garden tools and come to the Columbus Botanical Garden where Mr. Bill Kes can help get your tools ready for pruning and show you pruning techniques that will help you achieve healthy and aesthetically pleasing growth from your landscape plants.

searching for shapes or animal habitats and nests, these sheets are fun
for all ages. Once you have completed your search, please place
sheets and markers in the box where you exit.
