Budding Naturalist

Second Thursday of Every Month, 10-11 AM 1st – 5th Graders

Diving Deep: An exploration of our underwater worlds.

Naturalists will learn about the differing layers of freshwater and marine ecosystems and about the organisms found in each!

$5 for members, $7 for nonmembers (per child). Free entry for 1 caretaker.

Budding Naturalist is a monthly program that will ignite children’s curiosity and interest in science and the natural world through observation, exploration, hands-on activities and data collection.

Each hour-long session will include a lesson focused on elements and processes of the natural world and a hands-on activity to reinforce the day’s lesson, consisting of observation/experimentation, data collection and analysis.

Budding Naturalist occurs the second Thursday of each month.
