A PLACE TO LEARN AND GROW
Visit the Columbus Botanical Garden and let your children “learn naturally” in a fun interactive outdoor setting! The Garden offers both guided and self-guided programs giving your children the opportunity to discover all that nature has to offer!
A Monthly Parent & Child Exploration Of The Garden
Little Sprouts is an exposure experience with lessons geared towards children ages 3-5 and their caregiver(s). Have a child that is younger or older? Bring them along too! The lessons and activities will focus on subjects related to the natural environment.
Each session will consist of three parts:
Social time together in the form of a group talk, reading of a story, or a presentation on that day’s theme.
Exploration through a hands-on experience that can look like a game, scavenger hunt, or data collection activity.
A craft that ties the two experiences together!
The 1st Tuesday of every month from 10:00AM - 11:00AM
The program varies each month and includes books, songs and an age-appropriate craft.
A monthly program that will ignite children's curiosity and interest in science and the natural world.
Budding Naturalist is a monthly program that will ignite children's curiosity and interest in science and the natural world through observation, exploration, and hands-on activities.
Each hour-long session will include a lesson focused on elements and processes of the natural world and a hands-on activity to reinforce the day's lesson.
The 2nd Thursday of every month from 10:00AM - 11:00AM
We recommend purchasing your tickets ahead of time to guarantee your spot. Space is limited to 15 children.
Seedling storytime is a fun, interactive experience for kids aged 0-2. Children will get to experience a fun story time, sensory activities, a song and dance, and more! Activities will be in the Adams Farmhouse.
