Seed to Slice

Calling all rising 2nd - 4th graders! Join us this summer for Columbus Botanical Garden’s pilot kid’s vegetable garden program. The group will meet each Friday in June from 10-12pm to tend to their garden, take part in processing their harvest and end the program with a homemade pizza party! Spots are limited so sign up soon!

Come and explore all kinds of trucks and vehicles up close at our touch a truck area, enjoy a self - guided nature hike with family crafts and activities in the garden.

Tea Blending

Come learn all about the ancient tradition of herbal tea. Explore the uses and benefits of various herbs and practice the methods of crafting your own herbal tea blend to take home and enjoy. Led by herbalist and owner of local herb shop Moonday Naturals, Natalie Downey.

Herbal Skincare
Sun, July 26 | 3:30pm - 5pm
The skin is the body’s largest organ - come learn all about alternatives to toxic ingredients and complicated skincare routines. In this class we’ll explore the many herbs that support healthy, vibrant skin, methods for making all-natural skincare items like salves and serums, and participants will have a chance to create their own herbal skincare item to take home.

Anxiety and Stress Relief
Sun, August 24 | 3:30pm - 5pm
Life can be stressful, but herbs can help! In this class, we’ll explore the many ways herbs can support a balanced nervous system and offer relief from stress and the many way symptoms we often experience from it. Participants will have the chance to craft their own herbal stress relief blend to take home with them.

Immune Support
Sun, September 7th | 3:30pm - 5pm
A strong immune system is key to staying healthy. In this class we’ll explore the herbs that build and strengthen the immune system, and ways to use them in your daily routine. Participants will spend some time making their own herbal immunity blend to take home with them.
