Second Thursday of Every Month, 10-11 AM 1st – 5th Graders

Naturalists will learn what an ecosystem is and will then build their very own ecosystem in the form of a terrarium!

$5 for members, $7 for nonmembers (per child). Free entry for 1 caretaker.

Budding Naturalist is a monthly program that will ignite children’s curiosity and interest in science and the natural world through observation, exploration, hands-on activities and data collection.

Each hour-long session will include a lesson focused on elements and processes of the natural world and a hands-on activity to reinforce the day’s lesson, consisting of observation/experimentation, data collection and analysis.

Budding Naturalist occurs the second Thursday of each month.
