Second Thursday of every month, 10-11 AM 1st – 5th Graders
Dig into the amazing world of soil in this hands-on program at the Columbus Botanical Garden! Kids will explore the hidden wonders beneath our feet, discovering how soil supports plants, animals, and the entire ecosystem. Through fun activities and interactive learning, they'll uncover the importance of healthy soil and learn how they can help protect this vital resource for the future!
$5 for members, $7 for nonmembers (per child). Free entry for 1 caretaker.

Budding Naturalist is a monthly program that will ignite children’s curiosity and interest in science and the natural world through observation, exploration, hands-on activities and data collection.
Each hour-long session will include a lesson focused on elements and processes of the natural world and a hands-on activity to reinforce the day’s lesson, consisting of observation/experimentation, data collection and analysis.
Budding Naturalist occurs the second Thursday of each month.
