Prom Photos at the Garden

The Perfect Natural Setting for Every Photo

We love that you consider Columbus Botanical Garden a beautiful backdrop for your Prom photos. Columbus Botanical Garden is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. This garden exists because of community donations and donations of garden guests.  We receive no city or tax dollars for our operating costs. In order to have a beautiful setting in our community that you want to enjoy and take pictures in, we all must do our part to support its maintenance and growth.  To allow for prom pictures, we are adhering to our policy which requires an entrance fee to use our grounds for pictures.

Please prepay your entrance fee below to save costs and time upon arrival: – $8/per person for pre-purchased tickets (bring receipt for entry) – $10/per person at the door (exact cash or card)

Garden and photography members enter free (with proof of membership)

The garden will be open from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM the following dates for prom photos: – April 22, 2023 – April 29, 2023

These dates we will NOT be able to accommodate prom photos due to pre-scheduled events in the Garden: – March 17, 2023 – March 18, 2023 – March 25, 2023 – April 1, 2023 – April 8, 2023 – April 15, 2023

We ask family and friends to park at Blanchard Elementary if parking is full at the garden. Vehicles that park in the Free Will Baptist Church lot will be towed.

GARDEN PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDELINES

– NO GLITTER, CONFETTI, SMOKE BOMBS or anything that leaves debris and/or causes damage. Photographer and/or guest will be charged a cleanup or damage fee of no less than $50 – Do not block entrances, pathways, or Garden areas for use by others in any way. Please remain on pathways and grassy turf at all times. This includes photographer, equipment, and client(s). – The use of props during prom photos is prohibited. – Re-location of benches or any outdoor furniture/fixtures is prohibited. Do not disturb or remove plants, plant labels, or containers.

PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS FAQS

Standard photography session fees will not apply to prom photos. Photographers may purchase $8/$10 entrance ticket or show proof of membership.
