Not-So-Scary-Halloween!
Bring your little ghosts and goblins to The BOOtanical Garden – Not So Scary Halloween for a day of fun, learning, and Halloween excitement! Explore the Garden while enjoying carnival games, inflatables, and educational activities. Complete each activity and receive CANDY!
Enjoy a Live Birds of Prey Show, magic shows, and hands-on activities like dissecting a carnivorous plant and an owl pellet. Little botanists ages 4 and under can explore their own special discovery zone. BOOtanical is a safe and fun way for kids to explore nature, learn something new, and celebrate Halloween!
Concessions will be available.

Live Bat Shows
Experience the wonder of BOOtanical with Live Bat Shows! A-Z Animals will teach us all about Halloween's favorite flying animal!
Visit the bat show at on the meadow lawn at 4:30pm and 6:30pm.
Carnivorous Plant Presentation
See our presentation about MAN-EATING PLANTS! Just kidding, they only eat bugs. Learn all about the cacophony of crucial critter-consuming carnivorous plants!
Visit the presentation on the patio throughout the event.
Owl Pellet Dissection
Come rummage through an owls dinner...after they already ate it. See all the interesting things that tell us about owls' diets in the wild!
Free activity available for the first 200 people on the patio.
Magic Shows
We'll have a magician here to entertain us with his tricks, performing live magic for all who come to see!
